Super short nails can still rock a colored tip. It gives the illusion of a longer nail. Such an easy look. No extra brushes needed. Just do the base colors. Let dry and a quick swipe of the opposite color just on the tips. Done. Yes, the lines are not perfectly straight but it still works.

When not having a little too much fun painting my nails I am a chef. I don't wear polish in the kitchen so I have a lot of opportunities to paint my nails. My nails can get a little crazy but isn't that what nail art is about?

glitter tips
My nails felt naked without polish on them for the
past two days so they got an easy paint job this afternoon. I was
picking through my polishes to see if something inspired me. It turns
out these two polishes were next to each other (I have my blue/green and
glitters in the same drawer). I wanted something simple as well so I
just winged it. I like the look.

french dots
Someone bought this Estee Lauder polish and didn't like it so they gave it to me. It is so pretty in the bottle but such an odd color when on my nails. It is sort of apricot brown pearl. It might look great under a gold glitter polish or as a base under a stamp job.
